  MISSION INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT OF HORTICULTURE    (MIDH)   By: Anshika Rani    This scheme was implemented by the department of agriculture in FY 2014- 15 for the holistic development of the agriculture sector covering fruits, vegetables, root & tuber crops, mushrooms, spices, flowers, aromatic plants, coconut, cashew, cocoa and bamboo. It is a centrally sponsored scheme. The government of India contributes 60% of the total outlay for developmental programmes in all the states but in the case of North-Eastern states and Himalayas 10% share is contributed by State Government & central contributes 90 %.    Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare amplified the budget by allocating Rs. 2250 Crore for FY 2020- 21.   GREEN REVOLUTION- KRISHONNATI YOJANA  By- Anshika Rani Green Revolution- Krishonnati Yojana is an umbrella scheme that has been enacted by Government of India and Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer's Welfare since 2016-17 by combining 12 schemes. These schemes were combined together to promote the holistic & overall development of agriculture and its allied sector with a scientific approach to increase the revenue for farmers by enhancing production, productivity and better returns on their product. The scheme was extended for FY 2017-18 to 2019-20. The total disbursement for this extended period was  Rs. 33,269.976 crore.     The schemes under this scheme are as follows:   1.  Mission Of Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) It aims to encourage complete growth of the horticulture sector, from production to nutritional security and income support to farm Households.   The centre allocated Rs. 7533.04 crore for this scheme.   2.
